Title:  Enable / Disable Work Offline in Outlook

 

Problem:  Connection to the Email Server may hang at certain times.  A reconnection may be required to resume sending and receiving of email messages.

 

Solution:

  1. Go to Send / Receive tab in Outlook
  2. Enable Work Offline.
    1. Work Offline should be darker if enabled.
  3. Disable Work Offline.
  4. Verify sending and receiving email messages is working.

 

Notes: 

  • Reboot or closing Outlook is not required
