Resolution Process

  1. Adjust adobe settings as required. These requirements can be found on the Article: Adobe Settings.
  2. Navigate to the following registry location: HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Layers
    1. Search for the Registry Editor and run as an Admin
    2. HKCU is HKEY_CURRENT_USER
  3. In most cases, there are one or more values referencing (ending) in encompass.exe and these will need to be deleted.
  4. After doing so, run Remove UAC just to be safe. I've found that it is not always needed but more often than not it is. 
  5. Once the above steps are complete the user should be able to log back in to Encompass and run Mavent and preview docs without issue.
