Title: Adobe PDF Forms won't download from browser

 

Problem: Homespire employees experience issues when attempting to open forms through external websites. They need the full functionality of Adobe Acrobat software in order to complete their work. Possible errors are below;


 

Solution: 


Make sure Adobe Acrobat is the default PDF viewer and then...


For Chrome

  1. Go to Settings > then proceed to Security and Privacy on the left menu bar > click on Site Settings
  2.  Continue to click on Additional Content Settings to expand the menu > and then click on PDF documents
  3. Finally go ahead and enable Download PDFs 



   For Edge


  1. Go to Settings > click on Cookies and Site Permissions on menu to your left > then scroll down to click on PDF Documents 

   2. Proceed to enable Always download PDF files
