Title:  SonicWall NetExtender VPN

 

Problem:  Certain applications or Homespire Resources are only available onsite.  Users who need to use these applications or resources remotely will need to connect to Homespire VPN. 

 

Solution:


Information only for VPN users:

The same settings apply to Shady Grove Users - please remove SGVPN.homespiremortgage.com and replace it with the settings below.

Server: vpn.homespiremortgage.com:4433

Username: homespiremortgage.com\username

Password: (Your computer login/email password) - Shady Grove users = their O365 Password

Domain: localdomain

 

 

Open SonicWall NetExtender.

  1. To connect to our VPN services please fill out all the information as needed. (The screenshot below cuts off text so please copy/paste information given above where necessary.)

 

 

 

  1. Make sure to select “Save user name & password if server allows” as highlighted in red above.
  2. Once done, be sure to click on “Connect” marked in orange.

 

 

      2. If successful, you will see NetExtender display this information.

 

 

 

 

  1. When connected, Certain Applications and HMC Resources will be available remotely.  Such as:
    1. File Share, Remote Desktop Connection, etc.

 

 

 

 

       4. Select “Disconnect” when finished working.

  • VPN Connection relies on good Internet Connection
  • VPN Access must be given by IT
