Access Lenders 

Now It's Even Easier to Work with Your Favorite Lenders 
in Encompass! 

Connecting with lenders is now easier than ever. We've updated Encompass so you can find your favorite partners, customize your experience, and keep your lender account executives up to date – all for FREE! 

  • Find everything you need in the Access Lenders section of the Services tab: Fannie Mae formatted file export, links to top lenders, and more. 

  • Links to the top lenders make it easy to transfer your loan file and connect to the lender's website at the same time. 

  • Add new lenders by creating custom links—complete with the Fannie Mae formatted file export. 

  • Keep your lender account executive up to date by sending them an automatic email when you upload loan data to their website. 

How to Connect With Lenders 

  1. Go to the Services tab and click Access Lenders. 
     
     

  2. Click the Find Lenders tab.  


Types of Lenders 
There are three types of lenders listed on this tab: 

 

The one-way connected icon displays next to lenders that are directly connected to Encompass. You can automatically send your loan information to these lenders' websites. 

The two-way connected icon indicates that you can also receive information from the lender back in to your Encompass loan file. 

If you are working with a lender who is not directly connected to Encompass, you can export your loan information to your computer and then manually upload the file using the lender's website. 

 
 
 

  1. Select a lender and click Continue. 
     
     

 
 
 

  1. Type your Lender Login information (if required) and select a Request Type 

    • If you selected a lender that is not directly connected to Encompass, select the Export Fannie Mae formatted file & visit lender website request type. The loan file is exported to your computer so that you can manually upload the file to the lender's website later. 

 
 

  1. Select the Notify Lender Account Executive check box if you want to send a message to your account executive regarding your loan file. 
     
     

  2. Click Continue. You are taken to the lender's website (along with your loan information) and the message to your account executive is sent. 
     
     

 
 
 

  1. On the lender's website, complete the required information and submit the loan.  

    • If you selected a lender that is not directly connected to Encompass, log in to the lender's website and follow their instructions to upload the file from your computer.

How to Add a New Lender 

It's easy to add a new lender if they are not listed on the Find Lenders tab.  

  1. Go to the Services tab and click Access Lenders. 
     
     

  2. Click the Find Lenders tab. 
     
     

  3. Click New Lender. 
     
     

 
 
 

  1. Type the lender's name in the Link Title field, followed by the lender's website address in the Link URL field, and then click Add Custom Link. 
     
     

 
 
 

  1. Click the My Lenders tab; the new lender has been added to the list.
